Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya has several common spaces on the property that serve many purposes. The Earth Lodge, Nature Center, and Arts and Crafts Center are buildings that function as space for indoor programming, class sites, and event spaces. The Earth Lodge is the oldest building on camp and is home to a historic wood burning fire place and vintage camp photography.
The cabins at Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya range from rustic to luxurious. Each cabin features a wood burning fireplace, and classic northwoods common area furniture. The cabins sleep a minimum of 12 people in single size, wooden bunk beds. The two lodges are famous for the fully functioning kitchens and bathrooms within. During the summer these lodges are home to our youngest campers. Outside each cabin is a campfire ring, and stocked wood bin for convenient and cozy campfires. By June of 2019, eight of camps eleven sleeping cabins will be freshly renovated and updated.
Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya has two bath houses on site, both are recently renovated and feature hot showers, and private changing areas, as well as a camp laundry mat.
Camp is nestled on the edges of the Nicolet National Forest on the shores of Chute Pond. There are three bodies of water on camp as well as a natural marshland that is the feature of our nature bridge. Chute Pond is where the magic happens, canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming fill the waterfront with life during the warmer months and makes the perfect ice rink in the winter, and Blue Gill Pond highlights camp's natural wildlife with its full circle nature trail and environmental education check points.
