Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya's Outdoor Environmental Education Program is a school's classroom without boundaries during the fall, winter, and spring months.  The program is catered to school groups with students in 5th-8th grade.  Our 3 season environmental education program began in the late 1960's and has grown to serve thousands of students from schools throughout Northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula each year.

The Outdoor Environmental Education program can be a 3, 2, or 1 day experience with classes, food, lodging, evening activities, and recreation time all as part of the adventure!  All activities are facilitated by Camp Instructors.   

The OEE Program has a caring, knowledgeable staff that creates unique experiences in a fun, safe and challenging environment which inspires team and individual growth and a life long connection to nature.

The instructors at Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya demonstrate dedication to the program through concern, enthusiasm and a desire to share knowledge with others.  Environmental Education staff members have proven skills in working with youth in a natural setting.

 

Class sessions focus on a variety of subject areas including biology, history, math, teambuilding, natural sciences, and recreation.  Classes are designed to achieve a 1:20 staff to student ratio and may be adapted to meet your students' needs and complement the curriculum from your classroom.
