Our Summer Camp Alternative - Summer Family Camps

We exist to serve our community and to fulfill our mission: to improve the world through improving people. As the world changes around us we have adapted our 2020 Summer Programming to meet the current needs of our community while keeping guests and staff as safe and healthy as possible. While we are unable to offer traditional Resident Camp this year, we are grateful and excited to offer a different and still meaningful summer opportunity for families.

During our 2020 Summer Family Camp program, families/households will rent a cabin of their choice for two nights. During your stay camp staff will host program activities, cook you amazing food, and create special moments for your family to make memories that will last a lifetime.  This program is designed to provide space for families to get outside, be active, and enjoy safe social time with other kids and families. Please use the resources below to review the details of the program and call us with any questions. We are happy to help and look forward to hosting your family.

COVID Procedures

You can expect to see some adaptations to our typical family programs in order to best mitigate the risks of COVID-19. Upon check in, we will do a basic screening and temperature check to ensure that all guests are healthy. Bathrooms and shared spaces will be cleaned and disinfected twice daily by training camp staff. The program is designed to provide engaging opportunities to interact while maintaining safe physical distance. Hand sanitizing stations have been installed at every building, and each cabin, program area, and restroom will be equipped with disinfecting kits to be used by guests before and after use of high touch items. A full and detailed description of our COVID-19 related policies and procedures will be available in the resources below.

During Summer Family Camps, households stay in our air conditioned cabins. Each cabin has a wood burning fireplace, coffee maker, pizza oven, outdoor grill, outdoor fire pit, and at least 8 bunks. You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow for our bunk beds, a twin sized set of linens works well too. Check out our facilities page to view individual cabins and features or take a virtual tour of the property! Dogs are allowed at a fee of $100.00. Pet guidelines are outlined during the registration process.

On your arrival day we encourage you to dine at a local restaurant or bring food to cook at your cabin. The remainder of your meals for the session will be provided by camp! Our outstanding kitchen staff prepare a huge spread of food for each meal with different options for all ages. Our Food Services Manager and her team will be ensuring the health and safety of our guests by following the most current best practices for food service recommended by the CDC at this time. If you have any special dietary needs, please indicate that during registration. We can accommodate most special diets. You are welcome and encouraged to bring some of your own favorite snacks for your stay! See sample schedule below for meal times.

Rates and Dates

Prices vary based on the cabin your family chooses to rent for the session and the number of people in your "household". When you register you will determine who is in your "household." (For example: Mom, Dad, Kid 1, Kid 2, Uncle, Aunt, Cousin 1, the neighbor’s kids, etc.) Your registered "household" will have exclusive use of your cabin, we will not combine your group with any others.

Each cabin will come with either 4 or 8 participant fees included. These are minimum fees; sorry we cannot prorate them down for you. So if you only have 3 folks coming in your group you will still need to pay the full rate, or bring another buddy. You can add additionally guests at a fee of $100.00 per person. You can also add up to 3 pets. Pets have a "cleaning fee" of $100 each and they are not considered "participants".
