Father Son Weekends

There is nothing quite like spending a weekend enjoying the north woods at Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya with your son. Father Son weekends are one of our longest running traditions here at camp. This program is more than just playing in the mud and sitting around a campfire; the father-son outdoor experience is uniquely transformative to your relationship as it will be integral to some of your fondest memories together. The opportunity for young boys to be outdoors surrounded by positive male role models is beneficial to their character and development as a young man. Join us at Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya for a weekend of hearty laughs, new experiences, and bonding with your son that you will remember for years to come.

Lodging

During Father Son Weekend, dads and sons stay together in our cabins. Each cabin has a fire pit and wood is included in your stay. When registering, be sure to list the friends you would like to bunk with, that way you all can stay together. You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow for our bunk beds, a twin sized set of linens works well too. Check out our virtual tour of camp to view the cabins on site. 

Dining

All meals are provided by camp!  Our outstanding kitchen staff prepare a huge spread of food for each meal with different options for young and old alike.  From Friday night to Sunday morning you will have all the fuel you need to stay full and active!  If you have any special dietary needs please indicate that during registration.  We can accommodate most special diets. You can bring snacks to keep in your cabin but please don’t bring anything with peanuts, we are a peanut free facility.
